Anticipating the turning of the seasons is almost as fun as experiencing them. Put up your summer clothes, bring out your favorite old coat, shop for a new pair of boots, don’t forget the gift wrapping paper.... <br/>Anticipation... it’s the time before we do.... the fantasy time, the thinking time. Despite the glaring Texas sun and temperatures rising faster than lightening I set out for the <br/>East Texas Hot Air Balloon Festival. <br/>One must be an early riser to enjoy the lift off of these beautiful orbs... so colorful and immense, it goes beyond reason that they should fly, float, be set free... but baring witness to them all, they darn sure did!<br/>Morning hosted the lift off but it was the evening event that turned these monsters into magic. <br/>Have you ever been to a Hot Air Balloon Glow? <br/>Well dear friends, you really must go! <br/>Staged as soldiers, lined up in the ready, ten, twenty, thirty some odd balloons were awaiting their orders. With the countdown of one commander, in unison and timed to perfection, each balloon pilot with the same slight of hand turn up the sound, blew in the breeze and illuminated the majesty of their crafts. The balloons glowed, they all glowed....tethered to the ground they were going nowhere... they were simply there, all side by side, glowing their brilliant colors. Amazing! <br/>
